Matt is currently the music director for James Lapine's Mrs. Miller Does Her Thing, starring Emmy and Tony Award-winner Debra Monk, with music supervision and orchestrations by Michael Starobin. Playing through March 26th at the Signature Theater in Arlington, VA.

 

Up next: The Bandstand on Broadway (guitar and keyboard). Begins previews March 31st. 

 

Matt recently concluded the Broadway run of Finding Neverland as the Associate Conductor (guitar, keyboard, mandolin).

Jonathan Reid Gealt's latest record, Whatever I Want It To Be, is available for purchase online. Matt co-produced and provided arrangements, music direction, and guitar.

 

The original cast recording of Brooklyn Crush is now available, featuring Matt on keyboard and guitar, as well as Matt's orchestrations and arrangements.

 

Matt's guitar, mandolin, and tenor banjo is featured on the original Broadway cast recording of Violet, starring Sutton Foster.

Matt's Music

Matt's own songwriting has been described as a unique and deep blend of elements recalling Wilco, Ryan Adams, and The Beatles.  His 2008 self-titled release is available for purchase, and you can hear a variety of new songs at his live shows.
